The movie is marked with technology based on mechanical characters. We see an air of battle and combat in between Decepticons and Autobots. The human characters bring in the touch of reality, inculcated with the emotions of anger, fear, love, and hatred. Mikaela Banes is one of the human characters in the movie. She is a female who embodies sweetness and soft feelings, and she is the girl friend of the protagonist Sam Witwicky.

Though she is a female, yet she is courageous and is also incarnated with positive feelings. That was her positive instinct which made her help Bumblebee in Transformers 2007. She took him with her by tying him with a vehicle just in the middle of the battle without considering the life threat she was facing herself, right at the time when Bumblebee was injured and direly needed help.

She is marked with the liking for fixing cars. She is known as ‘the beauty with brains’. She is mechanically skilled because of her father. In the first part of Transformers, it was revealed that her father was a car thief. The Transformers is marked with the harmony of development of a new relationship between a teenager boy and girl. However, there are some speculations about their relationship in Transformers 2. We find references from many sources that their relationship undergoes some issues.

In the original comic series, Mikaela is shown mourning over the death of her boy friend Sam Witwicky. She still acts as an ally to the Autobots to fight the evil forces of Decepticons and their Construction. However, in Transformers 2, we don’t see either of these; Mikaela mourning over the death of her boy friend or working alone as an Autobot ally.

Her character is marked with courage and bravery, which is not a common characteristic of females. She gives complete hand to her boy friend in helping Autobots. She is not scared off by the Decepticons, which somewhat gives her a mechanical touch.

The character of Mikaela is shown morally and physically strong in both Transformers 2007 and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. However, Autobots are shown as unbeatable powerful structures that are speedy and near to perfection in their conducts. They still need the humans to gain certain information to destroy Decepticons before they destroy the earth and Autobots.

We see in Mikaela a person who has the capability of choosing between the right and the wrong. She leaves her pompous friends and takes a ride to her home with Sam in his wrecked looking car, which in fact was an Autobot.

She has complete trust in his boy friend and even goes in the custody of secret services with her friend without a show of remorse. It is remarkable that she goes to any length in order to help her friend.

We see the dignity of her character in Transformers 2007, which is carried forward to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. She is shown as a woman who is concerned about the respect others are giving her. If someone is disrespectful towards her, she too is merciless and harsh towards him, but that too is in limits. She embodies a perfect woman who can face any kind of situation with complete dignity.
