Alabama man dies in Friday night motorcycle crash in Blount County

A man died in a motorcycle crash in Blount County on Friday night, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said.
Richard E. Hunt, 59, of Vinemont, died when the 2018 Harley-Davidson he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Hunt was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash happened on Blount County 13, about six miles southwest of Cleveland, at about 9:09 p.m.
ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the crash.
