But the initiative did not see the light-weight of working day. The ministry amended quite a few sections of present regulations to sign up electric cars and trucks, but failed to finalise the draft. But concerns remained unresolved.

The staff then submitted a report. Obtaining that finalising the draft tips would be time consuming, the ministry resolved to amend the procedures of the Motor Cars Ordinance 1983 to sign up electrical motor vehicles, resources claimed. Only two these types of cars have been registered so much, they claimed.
“But the amended regulations do not deal with difficulties like how the charging stations will be operated and how the utilised batteries will be managed. The ministry asked us to formulate draft pointers incorporating all difficulties,” the BRTA chairman claimed.
As for each the draft, electrical vehicles should be registered and issued fitness certificate and route allow like any other car or truck.

Prof Md Ehsan, of mechanical engineering at Buet, reported electric powered autos can cut down emission. But efficiency of energy manufacturing have to be enhanced.
