Hero Moto, India’s leading two-wheeler business, may start an electric powered auto as element of its “next leap in mobility,” the Periods of India documented.

The report said the auto key is looking “beyond its standard two-wheeler business” and these “innovations and options will form the new line-up” as component of its “vision of long term of mobility”.

Notably, the corporation previously has a a few-wheeler electric powered car (EV) supplying called Quark 1, which is a modular item that can be converted into a two-wheeler based on person requirement. The professional and/or individual use car has been showcased.

Pawan Munjal, CEO, MD and Chairman of Hero MotoCorp informed the paper the company has “rolled out a file 10 crore two-wheelers considering the fact that its inception in the early 1980s’, and the up coming 10 crore line-up in all probability will not only be a motorcycle, scooter or a few-wheeler.”

He, nevertheless, shied absent from confirming the EV news and said the company has “many options”.
