Man, teen killed in Baker after motorcycle collides with deer

A Baker man and teenager were killed when their motorcycle collided with a deer in Okaloosa County.

It happened on Charlie Day Road in Baker around 3:30 Saturday afternoon. 

Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says the motorcycle was approaching Galliver Cutoff when the deer ran into its path.

The crash report says both the man, 53, and the 14-year-old boy were thrown from the motorcycle. After that, FHP says they were hit by a van.

They died on scene.

FHP no longer releases the names of those involved in traffic incidents.
