A 21-year-old man was taken to a Corpus Christi hospital with serious injuries after the motorcycle he was on struck a pickup.
Corpus Christi police responded to the crash at Saratoga Boulevard and Aaron Drive about 7:13 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck a pickup turning on Saratoga Boulevard.
The impact of the crash caused the pickup to hit another vehicle on Aaron Drive before striking a fence, Lt. Michael Pena said.
The 21-year-old man was thrown from the motorcycle. His condition was unknown Wednesday morning.
Others involved in the crash were uninjured, Pena said.
