UPDATE: Motorbike rider killed in central Fresno crash recognized as Fresno Co. correctional officer

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — The motorcycle rider killed in a crash in central Fresno has been determined as Fresno County Correctional Officer Randy Villalobos, the sheriff’s place of work explained on Friday.

The 33-year-previous was on his way household from work, officials say, when he collided with a pickup truck in the vicinity of the intersection of West and Princeton Avenues in Fresno.

Officers say he’s been with the sheriff’s place of work considering that 2013. Villalobos was recognised for getting an exemplary officer, eager on sharing his expertise with his peers.

He is survived by his mom, father, fiancée and a younger baby.

Fresno law enforcement are investigating a fatal motorbike crash on Friday morning.

The crash occurred at West and Princeton Avenues about 6:00 am.

Officers say the motorbike rider was driving north on West Avenue when a pickup truck on westbound Princeton Avenue pulled out in entrance of him.

The motorcyclist was taken to Neighborhood Regional Professional medical Centre, where he was pronounced useless. Police say he was in his mid-30s.

The truck driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with officers, officials claimed.

Each directions of West Avenue had been blocked amongst Brown and Michigan Avenues.
