With the world working from home, custom mechanical keyboards are now mainstream


The Key Dot Company’s Portico 65% mechanical keyboard is getting ready to ship and we’re taking a first look at a build kit. And at $119, it’s tough to see a better value out there for everything that’s included. We finished ours off with TKC’s Tangerine switches and Infinikey WoB keys, along with some help from a CMYK modifier add-ons. Here’s the final product, and perhaps more importantly, here’s what it sounds like. Not to be outdone, we’ll also take a look at the company’s new Dragonfruit tactile switch too.
