A woman was killed in a motorcycle versus pedestrian crash near Boulder Highway and Twain Avenue Thursday evening.
Authorities said the driver of the motorcycle did not appear impaired in the crash and suffered non-life-threatening injures.
In a statement released Friday morning, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said the motorcycle was heading south on Boulder when it hit a woman crossing near Twain.
Police say the 77-year-old woman was in all-dark clothing and crossing outside of a marked crosswalk.
Both the motorcycle rider and pedestrian were taken to Sunrise Hospital, where the pedestrian died from her injuries.
LVMPD says the motorcycle rider had only minor injuries.
Boulder Highway was shut down in both directions from Twain to Indios for the investigation Thursday night.
